Rescue 404

FOR AGENCIES

You keep the account. We keep it online.

Hand off WordPress maintenance and hosting eligibility so your team stays on strategy, builds, and the client relationship. Your clients enroll in Care directly with Rescue 404 — you keep the account.

Also for designers and marketing companies .

WHY AGENCIES DROP MAINTENANCE

Tickets and downtime are not account work

If you need a white-label build shop or a subcontractor who ships features under your brand, this is not that. If you want a technical partner who refuses to poach the account, keep reading.

  • Ops tickets eat PM hours

PHP bumps, SSL, DNS, and “the site is slow” land on the account lead — none of it is the retainer you sold.

  • Updates collide with custom work

Core and plugin updates break the last sprint. Your developers debug fatals instead of shipping the next build.

  • After-hours outages

The client calls you because you built it. That is rescue work, not strategy or production.

  • Unscoped retainers

“Keep an eye on it” becomes unpaid ops. Care makes maintenance a product with includes and excludes.

CLEAR LANES

You keep the account. We take the stack.

We sit beside your agency — we do not replace it. No poaching retainers, no competing for build scope.

Agency keeps

Your lane

  • Client relationship, strategy, and account management
  • New builds, landing pages, and feature development
  • Retainers for creative, content, and project work
  • Roadmaps, QA of new work, and stakeholder communication

Rescue & Care takes

Our lane

  • Outages, fatals, malware, DNS, and hosting faults
  • Safe updates, backups, monitoring, and recovery
  • Approved-cloud Care plans your clients enroll in directly
  • Hosting eligibility checks and migrations into Care
  • Minor maintenance edits inside Care minutes — not redesign or new pages

PARTNERSHIP FLOW

What handoff looks like

Intro → eligibility → owner enrolls → you stay the agency POC.

1

Warm intro

You introduce the site owner to Rescue 404. We confirm fit — WordPress / self-hosted, not a closed builder trap.

2

Access & eligibility

Owner grants admin and host access. We check whether the stack is Care-eligible or needs a migrate off shared/cheap hosting.

3

Care / host plan

Owner enrolls in Care with us. Eligible WordPress sites normally host in our managed environment — hosting is included with no separate standard charge.

4

Updates & monitoring

We run the maintenance lane — staging when appropriate, backups, monitoring, monthly health reports.

5

You stay the agency POC

Strategy, builds, and creative stay with you. We do not compete for retainers or take over the account.

WHAT YOUR CLIENTS GET

Care plans built for stable WordPress business sites

Managed hosting included. Shared and cheap hosting is not eligible — migrate first. Full plan details on the Care page.

$199/mo

Care Maintain

Managed care + hosting for quieter sites: updates, backups, monitoring, and a modest request allowance when something needs a human hand.

$299/mo

Care Manage

The usual seat for active business sites: deeper checks, performance and security oversight, and a real request allowance.

$499/mo

Care Protect

When downtime hits hard: escalation path, stronger recovery procedures, and a defined emergency recovery allowance.

HOSTING TRUTH

Shared and cheap hosting blocks Care

If the client is on traditional shared, bargain “unlimited,” or low-resource hosting, we cannot deliver real Care. Migration into our managed hosting environment is part of the partner path — not an upsell surprise. Standard migrations are included with eligible Care enrollment; complex migrations are reviewed.

HOW BILLING WORKS

The owner enrolls. You keep the account.

Clients enroll in Care (with managed hosting included) directly with Rescue 404. You keep the client relationship. We don’t take the account; you don’t become the hosting company. We do not host or migrate email.

  • Owner pays Rescue 404 for Care and Rescue; you keep agency retainers with your client
  • You introduce, help gather access, and stay the agency point of contact — not the Care account owner
  • Managed hosting is included with eligible Care — no separate standard hosting charge
  • Standard website migration into our environment is included with enrollment when criteria are met
  • No fake “official partner” badges; white-label or agency-as-billing-party only if agreed in writing later

OUT OF SCOPE

What this partnership is not

Clear boundaries protect your client relationship and our Care product.

  • Website redesign or brand rebuilds
  • New page or feature development as part of Care
  • Agency retainers or competing for build and strategy scope
  • Content SEO campaigns, ads, or CRO redesign
  • SEO ranking, sales, or conversion guarantees
  • Reselling Care under your agency as the default model

PARTNER FAQ

Billing, handoff, and scope

Straight answers before you introduce a client.

Who contracts and pays for Care? +
The website owner. Clients enroll in Care (and hosting if needed) directly with Rescue 404. You keep the agency relationship and your retainers.
Do I bill hosting through my agency? +
No by default. The owner enrolls with us for Care and hosting eligibility. You do not become the hosting company. Agency-as-billing-party arrangements are only by separate written agreement.
Do Care “minor edits” take build work from my agency? +
No. Care minutes cover small maintenance changes — contact details, hours, a broken link, a short text swap, installing a pixel the owner supplies. New pages, landing builds, redesigns, custom features, and strategy stay with you. If a request is agency-scope, we send it back to you.
Who does the client email when something breaks? +
For Care-covered maintenance and monitoring alerts, they work with Rescue 404. Strategy, builds, and new creative stay with you. We will not take over the account.
What if the site is already down? +
That is Rescue / Repair first — paid diagnostic, then a fixed repair quote. Care is for stable sites. After repair and host eligibility, the owner can enroll in Care.
What if my client is on shared hosting? +
Shared and cheap hosting is not Care-eligible. We explain why, then migrate into our managed hosting environment before Care coverage starts (standard migrate included with eligible Care when criteria are met). See our shared hosting and migration pages for the full path.
Can my client keep their approved host? +
Standard WordPress Care Plans normally host in our managed environment so we can deliver a consistent level of service. If the client has an unusual technical, contractual, ecommerce, compliance, or business requirement that prevents migration, they should contact us before enrolling — we review exceptions individually and cannot promise external hosting will be accepted.
Do you handle WooCommerce stores? +
Brochure and simple ecommerce sites can fit Care. Full store operations — checkout, feeds, payment ops — belong on Commerce Systems, which is a separate product. We will say so early.
Will you steal my clients? +
No. We do not compete for agency retainers or take over accounts. Our lane is rescue, maintenance, and hosting eligibility so your work stays online.
